Academic Program
The purpose of this department is to create a specialized learning environment for the electrical engineering students, so that they can cultivate their electrical engineering skills. The students will have theory as well as practice skills.
Teaching specialized knowledge and techniques.
Cultivating independent research abilities.
Developing professional ethics and commitment.
The courses for this department focus on Electric Circuits, Electronics, Power Electronics, Electrical Measurement and Instruments, Electrical Machines, Microcontroller, Control System, Electrical Power System, and Electrical System Design.
This is followed by a mixed yet balanced core of courses in electrical engineering discipline. The courses include Basic Theory of Structures, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Engineering Drawing & Measurement, Structural Analysis, Concrete Design, and Steel Structures. The department will tailor to the student, so they are able to pursue a career relating to planning, designing and construction of buildings, water resources management, surveys, and computer aided drawing (CAD). Upon graduation, the students are able to be involved in various electrical engineering
This department has various modern laboratories which include Fundamental Electricity Lab., Electric Circuits Lab., Electronics Lab, Power Electronics Lab., Electrical Instruments and Measurements Lab., Electrical Machines Lab., Electrical Power System Lab., Electrical Power Protection Lab, Control System Lab., Microcontroller Lab.
